Center For Food Action – Non Profit in New Jersey

This year our country will pause to celebrate the 96th birthday of civil rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King’s messages advocated for economic justice, education, housing, empowerment of the poor, and working-class people of all colors. Dr. King stated, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘what are you doing for others?’”
Our 2025 Event Chairperson is Dr. Theodora Lacey, who is no stranger to civil rights. She worked under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., during the Montgomery Bus Boycott from 1955- 1956. I invite you to join our MLK Day of Service as we support children at risk of hunger in our community.
CFA’s Weekend Snack Pack Program helps fill the gap for children at risk of hunger by providing healthy, kid-friendly, and easy-to-prepare foods.
On Saturday, January 18th, at 12 P.M., join us at Community Baptist Church as we pack approximately 2,000 snack packs for local children in need.
Please join us! Our children are worth it! Sign up today here!
