New Jersey lawmakers are considering a resolution that would include $2.1 million in the upcoming state budget to increase SNAP food aid for our state’s most impoverished elderly and people with disabilities. Through a targeted utility assistance initiative, this proposal would provide critical food aid to some of New Jersey’s most vulnerable residents.
