Center for Food Action Honors Harry Chapin at Bergen Pac Event

About last night… Center for Food Action had the distinct honor of welcoming the Chapin Singers to the Bergen Performing Arts Center. This was a full-circle moment for our beloved organization as we acknowledge 48 years of service in northern, NJ.

 

You see, a grant from singer and activist Harry Chapin and radio host Bill Ayers was the seed money for CFA’s founding. These two men initiated a grassroots movement to combat and amplify the root causes of hunger, poverty, and injustice.
