Corporate Giving
Businesses, foundations, civic groups, and community organizations play an important role in CFA’s work.
Their support helps provide food and essential assistance to people facing hunger and financial hardship through corporate gifts, matching gift programs, event sponsorships, and in-kind donations.
Corporate Gifts & Matching Gifts
Corporate support helps CFA respond to urgent needs and sustain essential programs throughout the year. Businesses can make an impact through direct financial gifts, grants, and multi-year commitments.
Many employers also offer matching gift programs that can double, or even triple, the impact of an employee’s donation. Employees are encouraged to check with their employer to see whether gifts to Center for Food Action are eligible for a match.
Event Sponsorships
Event sponsorships give businesses an opportunity to support CFA while demonstrating their commitment to the community. Sponsorship opportunities are available for our annual events, including the 5K Run/Walk, MLK and 9/11 Day of Service Weekend Snack Pack Initiatives, and the fall fundraiser.

In-Kind Support
Businesses can also support CFA through donations of goods, products, or services that help meet current program and operational needs.
Because our needs, storage capacity, and distribution requirements vary throughout the year, all in-kind donations must be approved and coordinated with CFA in advance. Please contact inquiry@cfanj.org to discuss a potential donation.
