Utility Assistance Program
Program Overview
Center for Food Action provides utility assistance to help prevent electric, gas, oil, propane, and water shut-offs for eligible households.
To qualify, guests must live in Bergen County or eligible areas of Passaic County, meet income guidelines, and have a shut-off notice or urgent utility need. Assistance is available once every 24 months and depends on available funding.
