Last Wednesday, Center for Food Action brought together more than 60 members of #TeamCFA for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, a special afternoon dedicated to celebrating the people who give so generously of their time, energy, and care to support our neighbors.
It was a beautiful, sunny day filled with good food, conversation, and plenty of laughter. Volunteers enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch followed by dessert, along with a fun raffle featuring several prizes and led by CFA Executive Director Nicole Davis.
One of the most meaningful parts of the afternoon was seeing volunteers connect with one another and with CFA staff. Because our volunteers serve across different locations, programs, and shifts, many do not always have the opportunity to meet. The luncheon gave everyone a chance to make new connections, strengthen existing relationships, and spend time with others who share the same commitment to serving our community.
We are incredibly grateful to every CFA volunteer who helps make our work possible, including those who were unable to join us for the celebration. Your dedication plays an essential role in everything we do, and we are so thankful to have you as part of the CFA community.
